Once the bacterium has entered the body, it has a predilection for attacking the lungs, but can also affect the kidneys and brain.<\/p><p>The bacteria can be transmitted from one person to another by airborne transmission. A person with tuberculosis can be contagious when he\/she kisses another person, shares eating utensils, sneezes or coughs, that is, whenever there is contact with saliva from a person with tuberculosis.<\/p><p>The symptoms that usually occur once infected are fatigue, weight loss, fever, chest pain, bloody sputum and shortness of
